Recap: The Flyers held on to capture a high scoring affair and defeated the Cubs 8-7. Matt Vrooman pitched three innings in relief for the win. Former Cub Wayne Feltham pitched out of trouble in the bottom of the 7th to earn the save. Clarington scored a run to make it 8-7 in the last inning and had the bases loaded with one out. But Feltham struck out the last two batters to preserve the win. Hunter and Dawson Baker combined for 7 hits and 6 RBIs, with Hunter hitting a home run. Christien Spulnick had two hits and three stolen bases for Clarington.

Josh Chaulk homered for the Cubs and Skyleuir Coote added a three-run shot for the Flyers. Yonn Firebrace had 2 hits and RBI for Clarington, while Christien Spulnick added two more hits.
