•  We have no cuts from the house league program. Your son or daughter will always be on a team and have plenty of time to learn and play the sport, no matter their level.
• But that doesn’t mean we aren't competitive. We have a tradition of competitive teams and players that can play at a high level. Many Mimico alumni have gone on to play in the NHL. 
• Coaches are parents, which means we understand that life can get in the way of practices and games sometimes and that each child is unique.
• Many of our coaches played Junior or collegiate hockey, and some even played professionally. So, your child is going to get high quality coaching from parents that care about them and the community they live in.

We are blessed to play in an Etobicoke arena steeped in history. When your son or daughter comes to the rink they can feel right at home because of facilities being focused on youth hockey first.  

Overall, we think Mimico Canadiens Hockey finds the right balance of teaching and competitiveness, while never losing sight that this should always be fun. If the kids aren’t having fun, we’re doing something wrong. We are a member of Hockey Canada and it is the governing body that gives guidance to our program.
