Happy September Comets
It’s a great time of the year when we start to head back into the rinks! This is an exciting season for us as we host the USport Women’s Hockey National Championships in March at Merlis Belsher Place!
I also wanted to send out a quick note to let everyone know the Huskie Women’s Hockey Program will again be running their Tuesday morning Huskie Dog Club Skill Development Sessions this season.
Huskie coaching staff and players will run the sessions for girls in the U9 and U11 ages with a focus on skating, passing, shooting, puck control, offensive and defensive tactics. Emphasis will be on improving hockey skills while growing the love for the game and providing mentorship from our Huskie Athletes.
The Huskie Dog Club Skill sessions for female players will start October 2nd and run through to the end of February. Each age group will be on the ice with the Huskies once per week.
Below is a link for registration and more information on the Huskie Dog Club – Female only. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

I hope to see many of you in the rinks this winter and looking forward to being able to host many of your teams at a Huskie home game this season.
