We got a call yesterday from Dave at the NSB sports complex. Dave asked Jay if he was able to come down to the complex to have a conversation. When Jay got there Dave said "do you want the good news or the bad news first?" Jay responded "bad news first". Dave responded. "The field won't be ready today, but will be ready tomorrow". Jay said "what's the good news?" Dave handed us 3-dozen brand new softballs in the wrapper that have been left over from the last couple of seasons. The fields are ready to go. We are back to having 2 fields. Thank you to everyone for being so patient - especially when it came to this winter season scrimmage games. We are going to finish up this week. We are having the draft next Friday night 3/14/25. We will start on time (weather permitting) on Tuesday 3/18/25. It took a lot of hard work by the board and the players to get us to this point!
