New Board of Directors

At our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday November 7, 2024 a new board of directors was elected for WMBA for our 2025 year.

The AGM provided an opportunity for the memebership to interact directly with the 2024 board of directors, providing feedback and engaging in lengthy constructive conversation about what has gone well, what needs to be done better and what the future holds for WMBA.  We appreciate all those who came out, and encourage members to participate in following years and staying actively engaged throughout the year.

We're extremely pleased to announce that the 2025 WMBA Board has 3 new members, who are excited to bring additional energy to the team.  Jerry Kleiner, Brett McQueen and Lauren Chonko, bring a wide array of different skills, perspectives and experience to help WMBA with it's top priority goals for 2025 and helping us focus on long-term success.

The WMBA executive has a different cast this year as well.  Nathan Webster was elected President, with Brian Vanpee moving to the role of Past President.  Brent Peltola and Jeremy Jeanson stood for 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents respectively.  Ron Burns has taken on the officlal role of Treasurer for the organization and Rick Rochon will continue in his role as Secretary.

A special thanks goes to Brian Vanpee, who lead the organization through the "post-Covid" era, and has helped to build on a strong foundation established by the dedicated and hard work of the board from 2010-2020 to position WMBA as a strong, respected and highly-awarded organization within Inter-County Baseball Association (ICBA),

Personally, I am excited about our opportunity for baseball in Woodstock.  The growth and demand for baseball within the city has presented a unique challenge for us to continue our growth as an organization while retaining as much of our local talent as possible, by providing the environment that challenges them and keeps them focused on the most important part of playing baseball - having fun.  As a born and raised Woodstonian, who played WMBA house league and was also on the first rep team to proudly wear "Wranglers" on their jerseys, I am dedicated to the goals of growing all levels of baseball in Woodstock, while ensuring future generations of kids have a place to play the game in the city.

Looking forward to 2025,
Nathan Webster
President, WMBA
