FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Toronto, Ontario - Metro Bowl Month kicks off on Friday, November 8th, at the University of Toronto's Varsity Stadium. This two-week high school football competition is emblematic of several Greater Toronto High School Football Championships. It showcases the best public, Catholic, and private high school football players in the G.T.A. Thank you to our top sponsors, the Toronto Argonauts, NFL Canada, and Area 51 Sports, for making Metro Bowl Month possible.

Exciting additions to help celebrate this year’s Metro Bowl month include drum lines, school bands, cheerleaders, celebrity guests, corporate activations, and YouTube-streamed broadcasts of senior championship games.

The premier event will be the 39th Metro Bowl, known as the "Rose Bowl of them all,” between the best high school football teams in Toronto, Peel, and Durham. First played in 1982, it’s one of North America’s oldest high school championships, and the winner will have the honour of raising the Bill Davis Cup, named after Ontario’s late Premier.

Tickets will be available online starting November 1st and at the gate on game days. Visit MetroBowl.ca for more information, including schedules, how to buy tickets, and where to watch online. For Metro Bowl Month swag and apparel, visit online until Tuesday, November 5th.
