HOCKEY PROGRAM + fees
IMHA offers a sanctioned Hockey Alberta program. Our season officially opens June 1, 2026.
Returning Families:
All outstanding account balances must be paid in full before individual registration can be completed.

| U11 - $1,275 | U18 - $1,475 |
* Additionally all players are required to pay a $20 equipment bond that will be returned at the end of the season as long as all IMHA equipment is returned in good condition

August 1-31: +$75
September 1 & After: +$100
BVAS Membership
In order to access facilities at the Indus Rec Center, all IMHA families are required to be members of the Bow Valley Agricultural Society. Memberships are a required purchase as part of the registration process and any over payment of membership fees will be fully refunded to IMHA family accounts.

AA/AAA TRYOUTS + INFO
Hockey Alberta has created new pages outlining the Tryout Process for players pursuing Eilte Stream (AAA/AA) hockey. Updates also simplify the process, including removing the Elite Notification of Tryout Form (NTO). Players should still register with their home association to maintain insurance coverage, secure their spot if they do not make an Elite Stream team, and support pre-season planning.
While players will no longer be required to submit a NTO to tryout for AAA or AA; they will still need to register with their Elite Draw Zone association/AA Recruitment Area association. From there, the onus will fall to the AAA/AA association to communicate a full list of players trying out to resident MHAs with players attending tryouts.
If your player makes the team they are trying out for, then the IMHA Registrar must be notified for a refund.
