Official’s Information

All High Park Ball Hockey referees must attend a OBHF certification clinic and pass a written exam in order to officiate in our league. These clinics are offered in February and March every year at different locations throughout the city . The certification is valid for one year, and referees are required to register annually. Upon successful completion of a clinic, referees receive a Obhf Casebook / Rule book. If interested please email us or visit the Obhf website to register:  Referees Registration Form

Coaches

Please let us know if your willing to offer your talents and enthusiasm to coach one of our house league teams. Please contact us at info@highparkballhockey.ca or simply check off your level of interest on our registration form. Coaches will be required to fill out a Coaches Vulnerable Check Form and submit it into the league. Fees will be covered by the League.

Students who need Volunteer hours:
We are always looking to help out the community by helping students get their Volunteer hours by helping out for 1 hour on Saturday mornings at 9 am with the Learn To Play Program.  Get your Hours and help out 3-6 yr olds learn ball hockey skills and drills.  All you need is an ice hockey helmet and a hockey stick and a positive attitude.  If you are willing to take initiative and assist the players to learn and show them how it's done and have fun, then join our team.

Timekeeper Jobs:
Every year we offer openings to timekeepers based upon availability.   You must be able to pay attention, have good handwriting skills, and knowledge of hockey/ball hockey is an asset.  You will be the third eye for our Referees by watching the game at all times and keeping track of scores and players' stats on the game sheets for our league.   All new timekeepers to the league will be trained by an experienced timekeeper and/or Convenor.  Spots are limited so apply early.

If you are interested please email us at info@highparkballhockey.ca
