The League is LEGALLY REQUIRED to have all of it's volunteers meet certain requirements.
Once approved, the certifications and LiveScan won't need to be done again as long as you're not out of the league for more than two years, or you've been removed by the Board of Directors. The volunteer form will need to be completed each season still, along with the uploaded drivers license.
IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER AND LIVESCAN BACKGROUND CHECK INFORMATION:
In cases of arrest history records coming back from the LiveScan DOJ background check, The League has certain convictions that will result in automatic denial of League Volunteer Badge and Volunteer status, and others will be reviewed for approval or denial. In all cases The League reserves the right to make final decisions on Volunteer status. The League also reserves the right to remove Approved Volunteer status from any league Volunteer. This may be due to the background check information, it may be because a problem or history of problems between the volunteer and our league.

The volunteers affected by this law will include all coaches and managers in Menifee Pony and Elsinore Valley Baseball. Team Moms will not be affected by this law as long as they're not also coaching. Bill Text - AB-506 (section 1, chapter 209) Youth service organizations: child abuse and neglect prevention. (ca.gov).
