Corey Anderson
Head Coach - Mountain View HS
Coach Anderson brings an extensive wrestling to our club. He has a long history of devloping wrestlers of all ages. He has produced 165 State Medalists and 31 State Champions at the high school level. His teams have won over 300 dual meets as well. In 2012 he was named the National Wrestling Coaches Association Coach of the Year. While a head coach in New Mexico he was named Coach of the Year in 2012, 2013 and 2016. Coach Anderson's knowledge of wrestling and his developmental process make him the backbone of East Valley Wrestling Club.
Morgan Ruby
Coach Ruby graduated from Chaparral HS where he was a 4 year varsity letterman and state qualifier with over 80 wins and set the school record for most career pins. He was also a Freestyle state placer while in high school. After graduating he began coaching football and wrestling at the high school level. As a varsity wrestling coach he developed multiple state placers. In his first 5 years as a varsity football coach he had 10 of his position players go on to play college football - 9 on full scholarship, 5 to D1 Power 4 conference schools, 2 All Americans and 2 that played in the NFL. This will be his 21st year coaching and 5th with EVWC.

Head Coach - Stapely JH
Assistant Coach - Mountain View HS
Coach Luis started coaching right after graduating from Mountain View HS, where he learned to wrestle in just 3 years. He finished with over 50 varsity wins and was a state qualifier. In 2025 he was part of the staff at Mountain View HS that was named Section 7 Assistant Coaching Staff of the Year by the NWCA. This will be his fourth year coaching wrestling and his second with EVWC. He is also a full time student at Arizona State University.
