USA Softball Age Calculator- 2025 Season
Uniforms
Uniforms are included with the registration cost.
Equipment
T-ball: Helmet, glove, bat, and cleats.*
6U-14U: Helmet, glove, bat, cleats, face mask.*
*We do have a bin of donated gear for those in need. Contact any Board Member and we will let you know what's available.
Practices
Coaches will contact players once teams are assembled with practice days and times- these days and times are chosen by your coach.
Teams will practice 1-2 times per week.
Games
Start after Labor Day.
T-ball: Has 1 game every Sunday.
6U-14U: Has 2 games every other Sunday.
Games are usually scheduled between 12pm-5pm. Games during Fall season may be played at Dickinson, Galveston, Santa Fe and Texas City.
Fundraiser
This season we will be selling raffle tickets. Each player will be required to sell $50 worth of raffle tickets, or can buyout at $60. Raffle tickets will be passed out to coaches during the first week of practice and are due before Opening Day. Prizes will be discussed at the beginning of the season and posted on the league Facebook page. The drawing will occur during Opening Day and annoucned on the league Facebook page.

Tryouts
All registered girls will be placed on a team! Returning players will be placed on their previous team, if available, and new players will tryout in January, if needed. Exact tryout dates are TBD.

- RAFFLE: This season we will be selling raffle tickets. ALL players will be required to sell $50 worth of raffle tickets, or you can buyout for $60. Raffle tickets will be passed out to coaches during the first week of practice. Prizes will be discussed at the beginning of the season and posted on the league Facebook page. There are individual and team prizes for selling the most tickets!
- TOURNAMENT: In addition to the raffle ticket fundraiser, we are hosting a league fundraiser tournament in February, 2025 Exact dates are TBD. This means that ALL PLAYERS are required to volunteer at the tournament. (For younger kids, parents are welcome to help their little ones.) NO DGS teams will be playing in the tournament. Once team rosters are complete, we will send out volunteer sign-up links to the coaches and team moms.
