• Youth must be at least 12 years of age to Umpire in Burford.
• Burford Optimist Youth Baseball will supply all umpires with a plate brush and clicker. Umpires are to purchase their own shirt (dark blue or light blue polo), dark blue pants and dark blue ball cap (no logo). This uniform must be worn at games. Failure to wear appropriate attire may result in a reduction of scheduled games or removal from the schedule.
• Regular umpires will be paid on weekly basis.
