2024 Bay Bulldogs Cheerleading
Registration: $50
Welcome to the Bay Bulldogs 2024 Fall season for Cheerleading! We are so excited to for all of the things to come! Below you will find details regarding our season. We are so excited to offer you the chance to fundraise to reduce your registration fees! All fees will be upfront at registration!
Ages: 5-14. Once registration is closed, teams will be assigned based on age as of July 31st.
Season: August - November
Practice: Monday: 6:30 - 8pm
Cheering at Football Games: All athletes will be expected to cheer at all football games. We anticipate all Home games to be held at Church Hill Park. The game schedule will be posted as soon as its finalized.
What’s included with your registration fee: Your registration fee includes use of uniform for sideline cheer, game day bow for you to keep, league insurance, AYF league fees, and outdoor practice area.
Fundraising: Each athlete will have the opportunity to raise funds to help off-set registration. Registration will be no more than $50. Registration is due by July 1st. All money raised by your athlete prior to July 1st as well as any sponsorships will be applied to your account.
Requirements: All athletes and their parent(s)/guardians are required to sign a athlete code of conduct as well as complete all paperwork for their registration to be complete. Your athlete will NOT be allowed to participate until all paperwork is completed, as well as all fees are paid. Practice and games are not optional and are required. Cheerleading is a team sport and when one athlete is missing, the entire team is greatly affected. A doctor’s note or prior approval from the head coach will be required for any missed practice or game.
Warm Ups, backpacks, shoes, etc.: Each athlete is required to have black cheer shoes. Please contact us at Cheerleading.Bulldogs@gmail.com for recommendations. Athletes are not required to purchased warm ups or a specific back pack, however we highly recommend it. Spirit wear can be used as warm ups and are available on our site.
Communication: All communication will be in a group chat with all parents of your athlete’s team. This keeps all of our information in one location, as not everyone has social media. There will be a team page you may reference for information, but the group chat will be used for basic communication.
Required Paperwork: The following paperwork is required in its entirety prior to the first practice. No athlete will be allowed to participate in any league activities without all paperwork submitted and verified.
Scholastic Eligibility: All participants must have received a passing grade average on the prior report card to be eligible for AYF participation. If verification of grades is necessary, or if passing grades are not achieved, Parent/Guardian/School administrator can make the final ruling regarding scholastic eligibility as to whether or not continued participation will benefit the participant. Each team will be required to submit an AYF Affidavit of Scholastic Eligibility to participate in Regional and National Tournament play.
