2024 Bay Bulldogs Tackle Football

Welcome to the Bay Bulldogs 2024 Fall season for Tackle Football! We are so excited to for all of the things to come! Below you will find details regarding our season. We are so excited to offer you the chance to fundraise to reduce your registration fees!

Early Registration-through April 30th: $165

April 30th through July 15th: $175

Ages: 5-14 (as of July 31st)

Season: Mid July - December

6U: 5-6 years old (age as of July 31st): Our newest and youngest group. They generally practice 1.5 hours 2-3 times a week, as well as weekend football games. They focus on learning the basics and fundamentals of the game of football, all while learning to cheer on their teammates and learning good sportsmanship.

8U: 7-8 years old (age as of July 31st): One of our newest and youngest groups. They generally practice 1.5 hours 2-3 times a week, as well as weekend football games. They focus on learning the basics and fundamentals of the game of football, all while learning to cheer on their teammates and learning good sportsmanship.

10U: 9-10 years old (age as of July 31st): Our 9U team continues to learn and advance onward with skills possibly learned in previous years as well as new skills to further advance in the sport. The athletes learn more advanced footwork, advanced plays, and continue to cheer on and use great sportsmanship attitude for all teammates as well as any opponents. The players practice 1.5-2 hours 3-4 times a week as well as weekend football games.

12U: 11-12 years old (age as of July 31st): Our 11U team continues to learn new skills, different passing and blocking plays, as well as maneuvers to advance in their game. These skills will allow all athletes to learn their positions to be best of their ability. We also expect them to demonstrate great sportsmanship both on and off the field for both their teammates and our opponents. The players practice 1.5-2 hours 3-4 times a week, as well as weekend football games.

14U: 13-14 years old (age as of July 31st): Our 13U team is one of our oldest most advanced team. They are getting ready to go to High School, so the skills are pushed and maneuvers taught and used to play at the upper level football such as athletes can expect to see at the High School level. The players continue working as a cohesive team and expected to demonstrate the best sportsmanship both on and off the field for fellow teammates as well as our opponents. The players practice 1.5-2 hours 3-4 times a week, as well as weekend football games.

Practice & Games: Practice will be 2-3 times a week with games on mainly Saturdays or Sundays (dependent upon field availability).

What’s included with your registration fee: Your registration fee includes use of uniform, use of shoulder pads, use of helmet and face mask, use of game pants with pads, league insurance, AYF league fees, QAC Field Fees and use of field equipment.

Fundraising: Each athlete will have the opportunity to raise funds to help off-set registration. Registration is due by July 1st. All money raised by your athlete prior to July 1st as well as any sponsorships will be applied to your account. If any portion of your registration is sponsored, your balance will be adjusted. All athletes are expected to participate in the leagues "Sponsorship Bingo" as well as any other fundraisers presented.

Requirements: All athletes and their parent(s)/guardians are required to sign a uniform policy and athlete code of conduct as well as complete all paperwork for their registration to be complete. Your athlete will NOT be allowed to participate until all paperwork is completed, as well as all fees are paid.

Scholastic Eligibility: All participants must have received a passing grade average on the prior report card to be eligible for AYF participation. If verification of grades is necessary, or if passing grades are not achieved, Parent/Guardian/School administrator can make the final ruling regarding scholastic eligibility as to whether or not continued participation will benefit the participant. Each team will be required to submit an AYF Affidavit of Scholastic Eligibility to participate in Regional and National Tournament play.

Required Paperwork: The following paperwork is required in its entirety prior to the first practice. No athlete will be allowed to participate in any league activities without all paperwork submitted and verified.

  • Waiver & Release of Liability(Minor): Due at time of registration
  • Emergency Medical Treatment, Consent & Information: Due at time of registration
  • Medical Clearance Form: Due by August 1st
  • Participation, Tracking and ID Card: Due at time of registration
  • Copy Birth Certificate: Due at time of registration
  • Copy of most recent report card: Due at time of registration
  • Current Photo: Due at time of registration
  • Code of Conduct: Due prior to first practice
