A.Y.C. MISSION STATEMENT
We are a small but proud organization with a history of providing the children of this community the opportunity to learn and cheer for our youth football program with the highest values of sportsmanship and integrity.
We will give your children the tools necessary to be good teammates and instill values that they can use throughout their life.
Our coaches dedicate a great deal of time and effort to teach the skills they will need to rise by lifting others. The technique the coach utilizes may differ from team to team but the goals remain the same…to build the finest cheerleaders, with character, confidence and sportsmanship.

Cheerleading requires many various abilities. It takes concentration, energy, enthusiam and TEAMWORK to learn cheers, dance, tumbling and stunts, all of which make up a routine. In the short time we have together this requires a great deal of TEAMWORK, effort, and dedication. Please ask yourself if your childs involvement with cheerleading will conflict with any other fall activity. Practices, Games, Events, Exhibitions and Competitions are mandatory. Teamwork is a very important part of cheerleading. Practices begin the first full week in August, three times per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:00pm, and in September and October practices are two times per week on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:00pm. Attendance is a huge aspect to this sport and is also crucial to the team's improvement. Cheerleaders are expected and required to attend practice in order for the whole team to strive, but more importantly practice. When one cheerleader is missing the whole team is affected and results in an inability to practice routines, stunts, etc. Please consider this when planning vacations and fall activities, it is important to notify the coach as soon as possible if you must be absent so we can adjust practices and act in ways that benefits each cheerleader involved.
There are 3 squads :
