What is NCAFA?
The National Capital Football Association. It is the organization that runs the spring flag football league in which the Raiders teams participate. For more information on the league, please visit their website at www.ncafa.ca
When does the flag season run?
The season runs from mid May until the end of June. Practices will take place from Monday to Thursday (twice a week) and games will be played on Saturdays and Sundays with the possibility that some of the girls’ games may take place on Fridays.
Can I sign up if I have never played flag before?
Absolutely! No matter which age group, all teams will consist of a mix of experienced and new players. Coaches are there to help you along the way. For an introduction to flag football check out Football Canada
Do your coaches have training?
All of our coaches are volunteers with training. The GS Raiders supports our volunteer coaches with a coaching clinic at the beginning of the season and providing support and assistance throughout the season as necessary. All volunteer coaches are required to submit a police records check, current to within the last two years.

The Raiders are run entirely by volunteers and your help is greatly appreciated. If you are interested in helping out, please register as a volunteer and/or email admin@gsraidersfootball.ca and your request will be forwarded to the appropriate person.
