u18+ - Christian Kuriata

The Cambridge Lions organization is pleased to announce that Christian Kuriata has been tapped as the Head Coach of our U18 Varsity program as we look forward to next season in the OSFL. Christian is currently the Linebackers Coach at Laurier and returns to the Lions for his 3rd season where he was most recently the Defensive Coordinator.

Christian is a players coach who will continue our tradition of “Develop here, play anywhere”. His focus will be on recruiting and developing a competitive team. A terrific motivator of individuals, Christian and his staff will continue to work with our players in a structured and organized environment where they can learn and excel to be ready for the next level.

Coach Christian:

"I am extremely proud and excited to be named the next Head Coach of this great program. I joined the Lions for my first season in 2022 and immediately felt welcomed by the community of players, parents, and staff.

I would be remiss if I did not say thank you to Coach Jackson Yanchus and Coach Zach Scotto for bringing me into this program and want to acknowledge what they have put in over their years to build it to where we are now.

My goals for this program are all about capitalizing on our opportunities to be successful by continuing to get our players recruited at one of the highest rates in the province, and bringing more championships back to Cambridge.

With the great people we have involved, and the desire to outwork anyone, we will be able to achieve our goals. Grateful to be back on the Hunt.
"

We are excited to watch Christian get to work in preparation for next season, knowing the program is in good hands! Congratulations on this appointment and good luck!
