North Bay Minor Girls Softball is an incorporated not-for-profit association, that has a rich history in North Bay, spanning over 100 years. With a couple of name changes throughout the years, we still run strong.
North Bay Minor Girls Softball is more than just a league, we are a Family and a community built of athletes, coaches, families, and volunteers dedicated to youth development, inclusive participation, and principled leadership. Whether you are engaging in the sport for the first time or pursuing long-term, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and energetic environment that fosters growth in both skill development and knowledge of the game.

To encourage a passion for softball through engaging coaching, competitive opportunities, and programs grounded in core values that promote confidence, and resilience. We also strive to ensure we are bettering the league each season by listening to the feedback from our members.

Our principles emphasize the promotion of physical literacy, fair play, safety, and community engagement.
Inclusivity and Equity: House league is inclusive of all players, who will have equal playing time.
Skill Development and Long-Term Player Development: Guided by a Long-Term Player Development framework, we prioritize fundamental movement skills and lifelong physical activity. Competition is approached as a learning opportunity, especially in our youth divisions.
Good Sportsmanship and Safe Sport: Our league implemented comprehensive Safe Sport policies to prevent abuse of power or mistreatment. Emphasizing the principles of True Sport and fair play, these policies ensure that integrity and respect are prioritized over technical regulations.
Player Safety: Standardized safety measures include a safety base at first, specified pitching distances, mandatory protective equipment such as fielders masks and batting helmets, and knowledge on concussion signs and protocols.
