- Team Wellness Champions (U13-U18 teams)
- Program Description / Dissemination – “Empower & Care”
- Each U13-U18 teams at all levels will be required to designate a Team Wellness Champion.
- Teams may designate two if they desire.
- The Wellness Champion cannot be a registered team official (coach or on-ice helper) or a team manager.
- The Wellness Champion for each team is a parent on the team that cares about kids and wants to help out.
- No hockey background is required for this role.
- The program will promote confidentiality
- Role of the Wellness Champions
- To attend a Know the Score Wellness program Information session on October 28, 2025 – see details below.
- Returning Wellness Champions from 2023-24 and/or 2024-25 will not be required to attend this session but are encouraged to and welcome to if they wish to attend.
- At this session, the Wellness Champions will be introduced to the various concepts listed above by the experts in their fields that have agreed to assist.
- The Wellness Champions will not be required to host a team presentation. Instead, the training session will be recorded and posted to YouTube to share with all families.
- Be the team contact for a parent or player seeing assistance with any of the components and to be in touch with SMHA to find further assistance.

U13 -U18: Tuesday, October 28 – 7:00-9:00pm at the Saskatoon Travelodge Hotel, Delta Room
- Please have your team Wellness Champion register online with SMHA by October 27th at noon so that we have the contact information for each Team Wellness Champion.
