Tons of awesome information especially for a new athlete AND a new coach!
Here you'll find some some very clear coaching points on basic skills, some ideas for games and training circuits, and the philosophy behind CSA's learning path for developing athletes.
I can't stress this enough... as I realize we haven't kicked a ball yet this season, we're going to do our level best to have a season! We have loads of experience within our organization and we want to see you, the kids, and the Game flourish!
Please! Reach out if you have any questions or need some help!

Especially for our younger age groups! We learn best when the activity is fun and engaging, that's why learning through play is far more effective than mundane drills. This is a great illustration of how to make a session fun. The kids still get tons of time on the ball, engaging instruction, and some very good practice on their focus skills!

Physical literacy improves with a combination of repetition, age-appropriate activities, in a positive, fun, and encouraging environment.
By the way... Physical Literacy isn’t just focused on the player... it’s for the Referees, and indeed the Coaches. We all grow faster in a positive, properly focused environment that breeds confidence.
