WELCOME TO Winter Park Florida RISE FLAG FOOTBALL

Registration is now open for the [SPRING 2023] RISE Flag Football season. Each registered player receives an Under Armour game shirt and shorts with their registration fee.

SITE/REGISTRATION DETAILS
The Winter Park RISE Flag Football season runs from September through November with games taking place on Saturdays at:

•    September 24
•    October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
•    November 5, 12, 19 (Playoffs/Championship)

Divisions
RISE Flag Football is based on the child’s grade level for the current school year. 
•    K - 2nd
•    3rd - 4th
•    5th - 6th
•    7th - 8th

RISE Flag Football honors friend requests. If you are a full team signing up together, each player must register individually and indicate the Head Coach in the “Coach Request” field on the registration form. If you are the head coach or team parent for a full team, please email us a tentative roster at sburke@uariseflag.com so we can confirm all players are registered and assigned to your team. 
LEAGUE FORMAT
•    Co-ed, open to grades Kindergarten through 8th
•    7-game season plus playoffs or consolation games 
•    6v6 format on 25-30 yd wide x 50 yd long field
•    7-11 player rosters so everyone plays every game
•    Practices are held an hour before the games; additional practices may be scheduled by your coach but are not monitored or insured by Under Armour, RISE Flag Football or any league affiliates
•    NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request
o    When possible, single players will be placed on teams with similar schools or neighborhoods
•    All coaches are volunteer parents 

REFUND POLICY
All refund requests must be submitted to the League Commissioner in writing (via email) and refunds will be based on the below: 
•    Full or 100% registration fee refund if requested 4 weeks prior to the first scheduled event day
•    Half or 50% registration fee refund if requested prior to the 2nd game of the season 
•    No refunds will be given after the 2nd game of the season 
•    In the event that the RISE Flag Football season is canceled prior to the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event, then half or a 50% registration fee refund will be processed. 
•    If the season is canceled after the 4th game of the season due to an unforeseen event NO REFUNDS will be processed.

COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS
All coaches and volunteers must provide the league commissioner with a current Coaching certification and background screen. Each certificate is valid for 1 calendar year. If you need to update or obtain either of these certificates, please use the links below:
