2026 General Information


Key Dates & Deadlines

  • Managers/Players Meeting: Friday, April 17, 2026 at 7:00 PM
    • Location: CHIPS (5606 47 Street)
  • League Fees Due: May 1, 2026
  • SPN Waivers Due: May 15, 2026
  • Team Rosters Due: May 15, 2026
  • Roster Changes Close: May 25, 2026
  • Score Reporting Deadline: Sunday of each playing week

If there is any conflict between the information on this page and the official League Rulebook, the Rulebook will govern.


Basic Guidelines & Information

Diamond Setup

The Home Team (Game 1) is responsible for:

  • Setting up the bases
  • Providing a home plate

Full equipment requirements are outlined in Section 4 of the Rulebook


Game Balls

  • Each team will receive twelve (12) 12" Hot Dot balls
  • The Game 1 Home Team must provide new game balls
  • For Game 2, when home/visitor switches, the new Home Team provides game balls

Game Scheduling & Locations

  • Games are played Monday through Friday

Primary Location:

  • Diamonds 1–4 at Manluk Recreation Grounds

Alternate Locations:

  • Centennial School
  • Angus Ridge

Directions will be provided when alternate locations are used


Facilities

  • Portable toilets with hand sanitizer are provided at the recreation grounds

Diamond Conditions

  • Diamonds will not be groomed during heavy rain or snow
  • The City may close diamonds due to field conditions
  • Closure updates will be provided by 4:00 PM on game days

Notifications will be:

  • Sent by email
  • Posted on Facebook

Score Reporting

Score submission requirements and penalties are outlined in Section 5 of the Rulebook


Balls Hit onto Private Property

If a ball is hit onto residential property along 52nd Avenue:

  • Retrieve it respectfully
  • Report any disputes or incidents to league organizers

Alcohol Policy

Expectations and disciplinary procedures are outlined in Section 13 of the Rulebook


Parking Regulations

Teams must park in designated lots:

  • Manluk Centre
  • Civic Centre parking lot

Applies to all diamonds, including Diamond #4 (Al Arner Diamond)

Do NOT park:

  • In residential areas
  • On school fields
  • On the east side of the pool (City-restricted area)

Complaint process and applicable fees are outlined in Section 15 of the Rulebook
