About WWFL

Waterloo Women's Flag Football League (WWFL) was established in 2021 by Victoria Groux. The league is committed to developing players and providing high-quality, competitive football for women in the Waterloo Region. Flag football is a style of football that has become increasingly popular as more opportunities for inclusivity are being created. Now, women can get scholarships in the USA (and now also in Canada) for playing flag football. It provides everyone from kids to adults an opportunity to play football in a safe, non-contact way and requires you to showcase skills that traverse across many different sports. 

WWFL continues to have a rapidly growing membership and is always exploring new opportunities for development and competition for women in sport.
