Team Administrator FAQs

Joining The VWFHA League

I'm a field hockey player looking to play in the Lower Mainland. How to I find a team?
Clubs from municipalities all across the Lower Mainland play in the VWFHA League. If you're unable to locate your local club, email admin@vwfha.com with the city you'd like to play in and we can help connect you with teams in your area.

How can my team join the VWFHA League?
Email admin@vwfha.com to express your interest in our League. The League Administrator will guide you through the registration process.

Roster Check-ins and Digital Gamesheets

Where do I enter the Scorekeeper Access Code to complete my digital gamesheet?
On this site here: https://games.teamlinkt.com/

Why can't I see the Scorekeeper Access Code on my TeamLinkt app?
This is either because you have not been tagged as a Team Admin for your team, or because the game in question is more than 24 away. Roster check-in, scorekeeper access codes, and digital gamesheets only become available when a game is "LIVE", approximately 24 hours in advance.

The digital gamesheet won't allow me to start the game with our Substitute goalie, how do I circumvent this?
Your Substitute Goalie's position must be "Goaltender". Not "Goalie," "G," "GK," or "Goalkeeper," TeamLinkt seems to work best with Goaltender.
Please beware the extra space at the end of the word (i.e., "Goaltender  "). There's a chance that the additional character could be causing issues too.

My team is playing with eleven field players instead of a goalie, how do I proceed through the roster check-in on the TeamLinkt app?
Use the "Add" or "Add Substitute Player" section to add an athlete named "No Goalie Dressed" or "No Goalie". In the goaltender dropdown menu, select the "No Goalie Dressed" player as your goalie for that game.

Both teams input and verified their rosters seperately, but now one or both have dissapeared. What happened?
Only one person can edit the gamesheet at a time. If multiple devices are attempting to edit it, changes will not be saved. The League recommends that the home team takes on this task so everyone can anticipate what will happen field-side, but please communicate with your opponents to ensure the gamesheet is completed to the best of your ability.

There was a forfeit and now our team's statistics don't display an accurate number of games played, won, or lost. What happened?
The VWFHA is working with TeamLinkt to change how forfeited games display on the website. Please keep an eye on your statistics while we work on a solution.
