the greater moncton football association (GMFA) is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to fill several important support roles for the upcoming 2025 season.

We are looking for individuals like you to fill the following volunteer roles:

Flag Football Coordinator!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage spring flag football league - organize team schedules, field times and registrations
  • Promote Fun & Fair Play - work with coaches to ensure a positive experience for all players
  • Coordinate with the GMFA Board to keep everyone updated on league activities.

Ideal candidate qualifications

  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Capable of handling multiple schedules, coordinating practices and games, and managing registration details
  • Able to track equipment needs, field bookings and player documentation with ease
  • Passion for youth sports and community involvement.

REGISTRATION COORDINATOR!

The GMFA is seeking an organized and dedicated individual to assume the role of Registrar for a 2 year term beginning in February 2025. This role is key in supporting our members by overseeing the registration process and documentation for all GMFA programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member registration - manage all aspects for registration, ensuring all participants complete necessary forms and meet eligibility requirements.
  • Collaborate with the GMFA board to support all programming and ensure smooth operations across the association
  • Financial coordination with the Treasurer to manage payments, invoicing and provide regular financial updates related to registration and programming fees
  • Form creation - develop and manage forms for registrations, special events and other GMFA programming needs.

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR!

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation - develop engaging posts, updates and stories for our social media channels to highlight games, events and achievements
  • Event Promotion - work closely with the GMFA board to promote upcoming events, registration dates and deadlines and important announcements
  • Community Engagement - Interact with followers, respond to inquiries and build an active and supportive online community
  • Collaboration - work coaches, board members and volunteers to gather and share content that showcases the GMFA's mission and values.

Ideal candidate qualifications

  • Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram) and Canva
  • Creative mindset and an eye for details
  • Passion for youth sports and community involvement.
