4. Eastman Minor Hockey requires all rostered coaches to complete the following certifications in addition to the Hockey Manitoba requirements, these can be found at the same link as above in point 3:

- U7: Skating 1
- U9: Goaltending 1
- U11: Puck Control 1
- U13: Checking 1

The Team Manager is a central figure on a team to ensure there is a flow of communication, not only within the team (parents, players & coaches), but between the team and Steinbach Minor Hockey Association, Coordinators (both SMHA and Hockey MB). Taking on this role enables the coach to focus on the players, and the 'on-ice' responsibilities."

Hockey Manitoba Minor Hockey Sanctioned Tournaments
Hockey Canada Injury Report
Travel Permit - Hockey Canada only sanctions events where all participants are registered members of Hockey Canada or USA Hockey. When traveling to a tournament or exhibition game outside of Manitoba you may need to verify your registration with the branch and a travel permit serves as the verification that your team and its members are registered with Hockey Manitoba and is proof of the insurance provided to you as a member team. If you are travelling to the US the individuals on your team must also have some form of primary travel insurance.
