Stamford Rugby Club is growing the game in our community, giving young people the opportunity to learn rugby, build confidence, and develop through sport. Whether you are a local business, an experienced coach, a rugby parent, or someone with skills or resources to share, there are many ways to get involved.

BECOME A COACH

Great coaches make a lasting difference. We welcome people who want to help young players learn rugby, develop their skills, and enjoy being part of a team.

Whether you have years of playing experience, coaching qualifications, or are interested in learning how to coach, we'd like to hear from you. Coaches receive appropriate training and must meet applicable certification, registration, and player-safety requirements.

VOLUNTEER

Our club depends on parents and family members who give their time to help our programs run smoothly. You don't need rugby experience to make a difference.

There are many ways to help, including:

• Supporting match days, tournaments, and club events.
• Helping with team communications and family outreach.
• Assisting with registration, fundraising, and equipment.
• Supporting new-player recruitment and community events.
• Helping with logistics, administration, and club operations.

Every contribution helps create a better experience for our players and families.

PARTNERSHIPS

Partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and professionals help us grow our programs, improve the player experience, and make rugby accessible to more families. We welcome both financial contributions and in-kind support.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Financial contributions help fund coaching, equipment, uniforms, field and event costs, and financial assistance for families who need it. Your support allows us to invest in our players and build a stronger, more sustainable club.

IN-KIND SUPPORT AND SERVICES

We also welcome partners who can contribute goods, services, or professional expertise. This support helps us manage costs and provide better experiences for our players and families.

Areas where we would welcome support include:

• Food and events: Catering, refreshments, event planning, and tournament support.
• Player health and safety: Physiotherapy, athletic training, and physical evaluations.
• Strength and conditioning: Fitness assessments, training programs, and performance coaching.
