U15 Tiered Community

• Ages 13–14 as of Dec 31, 2026 (born 2012 or 2013)
• Fee: $1,050
• Plays in the Hockey Edmonton Federation program
• Includes SWAT and Confederation graduates — see "Graduating Players" below

U18 Tiered Community

• Ages 15–17 as of Dec 31, 2026 (born 2009, 2010 or 2011)
• Fee: $1,100
• Plays in the Hockey Edmonton Federation program

Both divisions:

• Tiers this year: Tiers 1–3 Body Checking and Tiers 1–3 Non-Body Checking
• Non-body-checking players self-identify at registration and won't be skated in body-checking groups
• Placement on a body-checking team is not guaranteed, even if you opt in
• Late fee: $100 after June 30 — waived for players trying out at an AA Club (SSAC, CAC, MLAC, KC)
• Pay in full at registration, or 3 payments: registration / Sept 1 / Oct 15
• Registration isn't complete until payment is received

How to Register for U15 and U18 Tiered

Graduating SWAT or CONFED players (born 2013): 
Contact Registrar directly at  swzadmin@telus.net. Please include  the  player's full name and birthdate, plus proof of residency.  Once approved, register in U15 by June 30 to avoid the late fee.

Players Transferring from other Programs or New to Hockey
Contact Registrar directly  at swzadmin@telus.net.   No late fee applies.

Recreational League — U15, U18, U21

For players who want to play without the practice/game commitment of community hockey.

• 18 games, no practices — lower travel, lower fees, no cash calls
• Registration: June 1 – Sept 15, fee $600
• Already registered with SWZ and want to switch to Recreation? Contact Ardis, Registrar,  at  swzadmin@telus.net to transfer your file.

U21 "Junior C" — SWZ Oil Kings & SWZ Ice Kings

• Ages 18–20 by Dec 31, 2026
• Compete in the Noralta Junior Hockey League

U21 "Junior B" — Edmonton Royals

• Ages 18–20 by Dec 31, 2026
• Compete in the Capital Junior Hockey League
