2026 Season Structure                     

The following items were discussed and agreed upon at the Divisional Meeting held on Wednesday, February 4.

 Regular Season

  • 1 Division – 8 Teams
  • 15 Games Total
  • One Doubleheader
  • 14 Playing Weeks
  • Opening Day: March 29, 2026

Off Dates

  • April 5 (Easter)
  • May 10 (Mother’s Day)
  • May 24 (Memorial Day Weekend)
  • July 5 (July 4 observed)

Final Regular Season Game: July 26
Schedules will be posted by March 23 (hopefully earlier).


Playoffs (5 Weeks)

  • August 2
  • August 9
  • August 16
  • August 23
  • August 30

Two Champions: American & National


Playoff Format

Semi-Finals (Best of 3)

American Bracket

  • (1 vs 4) and (2 vs 3)
  • August 2 Doubleheader (two 7-inning games)
  • Game 1: Better seed is home team/ Better Seed Hosts
  • Game 2: Worse seed is home team/Better Seed Hosts

National Bracket

  • (5 vs 8) and (6 vs 7)
  • Same format as American

If Necessary

  • August 9 – One 9-inning game
  • Better seed is home team/ Worse Seed Host

Championships (Best of 3 – 9-Inning Games)

  • Game 1: August 16 – Better seed hosts & is Home Team
  • Game 2: August 23 – Weaker seed hosts & is Home Team
  • Game 3: August 30 – Better seed hosts & is Home Team

Playoff Contingencies

  1. If both semi-finals are sweeps, championships begin August 9.
  2. If August 16 is rained out:
    • Doubleheader on August 23
    • Game 1: 9 innings
    • Game 2: 7 innings
  3. All efforts will be made to finish before Labor Day, including doubleheaders or single-game playoffs.

Championship Credit

  • Two championships
  • $500 credit per champion
  • Credit is NOT cash
  • Valid for:
    • 2026 Fall
    • 2026 Midweek
    • 2027 Spring
  • Expires April 1, 2027
  • Non-transferable

Rules Specific to the 35+ Division

  • Mercy rule allowed in the Play-In Round only (voted on)
  • No mercy rule in Semi-Finals or Championship rounds

Umpire Fees

Two umpires per game

  • 9 innings: $120 per umpire
  • 7 innings: $105 per umpire

One umpire only

  • 9 innings: $180
  • 7 innings: $160

Special Situations

  • Cancel less than 1 hour: $70 per umpire
  • Weather cancellation at field: $70 per umpire
  • DH started, Game 2 canceled: No fee
  • DH becomes single 9-inning game: 9-inning fee + $70 per umpire
  • Late cancel of scheduled DH: Each manager pays $85 per umpire

Standings – Point System

  • Win: 3 points
  • Tie: 2 points
  • Loss: 1 point
  • Forfeit loss: 0 points
  • Game not played: 0 points

Note: Standings may temporarily show 1 point for forfeits; this will be corrected at season’s end. July 28

  2. Fewest runs allowed
  3. Most runs scored

Three Teams

  1. Fewest runs allowed
