The San Diego County Senior Softball League is open to all slow pitch payers age 55 and over. Games are played every Tuesday morning at fields all over San Diego County, including Mission Bay, San Diego, Santee, El Cajon, La Mesa, Spring Valley, Chula Vista, and National City.
There are three separate divisions in the League, with A, AA, and AAA level teams participating. There are three full seasons each year, each lasting 4 calendar months. Spring season runs March through June, Summer season runs July through October, and Winter season runs November through February.
The SD County Senior Softball League is a Non-Profit entity, that is fully run & administrated by numerous volunteers affiliated with the league.
The League is sanctioned by SSUSA - Senior Softball USA. The League uses all standard "Senior Softball" Rules, AND allows all official "Senior Softball" Bats. The League also uses several "player friendly" Modified/Amended Rules, for each of the 3 divisions as well.
