Are parents required to volunteer?

PRVC actively encourages parental involvement, as volunteerism is crucial to the success of our club, teams, and athletes. There are numerous ways to contribute and various roles to fill.

Each team requires a team manager and a team treasurer, who serve as vital communication links between the club, coaches, and parents. Many teams also seek additional parent volunteers to help with equipment, travel, scorekeeping, scheduling, and live streaming.

Are the coaches certified?

PRVC recognizes the importance of coaches.  All of our head coaches are either fully certified or actively pursuing certification through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). They adhere to the Volleyball Alberta Coaches’ Code of Conduct, ensuring the highest standards of coaching excellence.
