1. What age groups can join the team?
We welcome cheerleaders grades Pre-K to 8th grade. Teams are typically divided by grade level.
2. Does my child need prior cheerleading experience?
No experience is required! We welcome beginners as well as those with experience. Our coaches will teach all necessary skills.
3. What is the time commitment?
Practices are held twice a week for 90 minutes. Additional time may be required during the season.
4. What should my child wear to practice?
Athletic wear and sneakers with hair tied back. No jewelry.
5. Are there any tryouts?
No, everyone is welcome.
6. What are the costs involved?
Fees depend on level. A full breakdown will be provided at registration.
7. Do parents need to volunteer?
We appreciate parent involvement and will ask that you help with events, fundraising, or team logistics. It's a great way to support the team!
8. Will the team participate in competitions?
Only our Competition Team. Our teams attend local and/or regional competitions depending on age and skill level. Participation builds confidence and teamwork.
9. How long is the cheer season?
Our season typically runs from July to Nov with optional off-season training available.
10. Who are the coaches and what are their qualifications?
Our coaches are all volunteers .
11. How can I stay updated on team news and events?
We use TeamLink to keep parents informed.
12. What happens if my child misses practice?
We understand that things come up. Please notify the coach ahead of time. Regular attendance is important, especially before performances or competitions.
