WHY SHOULD I PLAY IN THE PLAY4FUN HOCKEY LEAGUE?
Play4Fun Hockey stands out from other leagues by putting safety, fun and community first. With more than 20 years of league management experience, we've built a program where players of all skill levels can enjoy the game of hockey in a positive and respectful environment. Whether you play to compete or just to have a good time, our focus is to provide our players' with the best hockey experience.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration can be done online with your debit or credit card or alternatively you can contact the league to make an eTransfer (if preferred)
IS THERE A DISCOUNT IF I REGISTER EARLY?
YES, if paying in full, you are eligible for an early bird discount of 10% until March 31, 2026. After March 31, 2026, the regular registration fee applies
WHEN CAN I REGISTER?
Registration is open now!
HOW DOES THE INSTALLMENTS (Split-Payment) OPTION WORK?
If you elect to use the split-payment option, the first half of the registration fee will be due at the time of sign-up, with the second half due in 30 days.
If you paid the first installment with a credit card, your card will automatically be billed the second installment in 30 days. If the transaction fails, you will receive an email with a link to follow to make the payment.
If you paid the first installment with e-Transfer, an invoice containing a link to make the second installment payment will be generated in 30 days and sent via email.
Failure to complete the second installment payment within a timely manner may result in the rejection of your registration as well as monetary loss as outlined in the Refund Policy.

Our season begins May 3, 2026
WHERE ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?
Games are played in Oakville, at Sixteen Mile Sports Centre (See Arena Locations for details)
WHAT TIMES ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?
Games are played on Sunday's (mid-days) - (*Except on Victoria Day and Canada Day weekends)
HOW MANY GAMES ARE THERE IN A SEASON?
14 Regular season games + Playoffs
ARE JERSEYS INCLUDED?
Yes, your registration includes a jersey for you to keep (and wear proudly!)
HOW MANY TEAMS?
There are 8 teams, so space is limited. Only 104 player spots and only 8 goalie spots available
HOW LONG ARE THE GAMES?
There are 3 periods of 15-minute running time play. The final minute of the game is stop time.
ARE OFFICIALS PROVIDED?
Yes, two referees, a timekeeper and Convenor are present at every game
ARE SLAP SHOTS PERMITTED?
No, we value the safety of our goaltenders and players alike, so sticks cannot be raised above the waist when taking a shot. For a listing of all rules see (Rules & Equipment)
WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF PLAY?
We accept players of all skill levels however we have rules in place to keep the games fun and balanced.
We will do our best to balance the teams based on registration details and we will balance the teams during the season if there's a wide imbalance.
In the playoffs, the division will be split into two separate divisions with the top 4 teams in one division and the bottom 4 teams in the other.
As the league grows, we will separate divisions based on skill level.
CAN I PLAY ON THE SAME TEAM AS MY FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND?
Definitely! Just indicate who you wish to play with on your registration form.
