Are you current or past Pittsfield Basketball Player, who is passionate about basketball and eager to make a positive impact on young athletes' lives? Heatwave Camp Youth Basketball is looking for enthusiastic individuals like you to join our team as camp counselors for an unforgettable summer experience!
As a camp counselor at Heatwave Camp, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and mentor young basketball players, fostering their love for the game while helping them develop essential skills both on and off the court. We believe in the transformative power of sports, and we're seeking dedicated individuals who share our commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment for our campers.
Qualifications:
- Must have a genuine passion for basketball
- Strong playing experience with a solid understanding of the game
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team and lead by example
Responsibilities:
- Lead basketball drills, skills sessions, and games
- Mentor and motivate campers to improve their basketball skills
- Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment
- Assist in organizing and coordinating camp activities
- Be a positive role model and mentor to campers
