2024 Annual General Meeting
 

The 2024 Orléans Minor Football Association AGM will be held on January 21st, 2024, 7:00pm at Mer Bleue High School. The AGM is open to all members of the Club. Voting privileges belong to any member, in good standing, 18 years of age or older. A member is defined as any individual registered in 2024 or the parent/guardian of a registered member under the age of 18.

At the AGM, any proposed changes to the Constitution and its By-Laws will be voted on, and executive elections will be held.

Currently, the following positions are up for election at the 2024 AGM (positions may change/vary based on proposed constitutional changes and amendments):

  • President (2 year term)
  • Secretary (1 or 2 year term)
  • Director of Cheerleading (1 year term)
  • Director of Coaching and Field Operations (1 year term)
  • Director of Flag (1 year term)
  • Director of Health & Safety (1 year term)
  • Director of Events and Fundraising (1 year term)

Candidates can be nominated any time before the meeting and not on the floor. Contact Cassandra  for a description of any available position.

Should an election be necessary, it will be run by the Treasurer. Interested individuals and nominations should be sent to the current President.

Prior to the AGM, please communicate your desire to attend and motions for constitutional changes to Tasha Fenner no later than 9pm on January 13th, 2025. Motions will not be accepted on the floor.

One week prior to the AGM, an email with the room number, agenda, last year's minutes, all proposed constitutional amendments and nominations for positions will be sent to all registered members.

Bengals/Raftsmen Speed and Skill
 
From January 12th – March 30th (12wks), Titan, Bengals & guest coaches will work together to run a Football Speed & Skill program in the Orléans Dome on Sundays from 10-11AM for all players.

Youth Sports relies on volunteers to deliver a successful program and the OMFA is no exception. If you would like to help us deliver exceptional Team Sports, register to be a volunteer with us. As with our Tackle Program, the Football Ontario registration is included in our registration and can be found on our Registration page. Our Volunteer registrations are divided between Coaches and Other Volunteers. Ensure you are in the correct registration for your position with us.
