All games are meant to start on time. Please be ready in time.

All players, including substitutes, must have a signed waiver. Extra copies are available at the indoor bar. Be aware of your surroundings and play at your own risk.
Players under 21 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
All leagues are co-ed. B+ and higher can have a maximum 1 more guy than girl playing at a time. (ie 4m2f is not allowed). This rule applies to B and C during the playoffs.
Team captains Rock/Paper/Scissors to determine who serves first game 1. The teams will then alternate service every other game.
Teams will switch sides after every game and in the third game once either team reaches 15 points.
Teams will play the 3 games to 25 with a cap at 28 (Rally Score). "Rally Score" means that every time a point is finished, one team will be awarded a point, whether they served or not.
Games will end 1 hour after the scheduled start time. If the 3rd game is a tie-breaker the ref may decide to play to 15 due to time constraints, switch at 8. The decision will be made before the match starts.
Serves that hit the net and go over the net to the opponent's side will be "live" and are good serves provided the opposing team plays them or they land in bounds.
The server may not step on or over the end line until the ball has been contacted. The width of the service area is from sideline to sideline. The depth of the service area is infinite.
If there is more than one play on a side before it is returned over the net, a woman must be included in one of the touches. The ball may be played by two men consecutively as long as a woman touches it prior to it passing over the net.
Each team is granted a maximum of three hits on a single volley, with the exception of a block-initiated volley, for a block does not count as the first contact. One player may play the ball twice during a volley, though not in successive hits (with the exception of a ball first blocked and then played on by the one blocking).
A ball that hits the line is considered “in”.
Call your double hits and lifts on yourself and your own team. Kindly point out the rules to opponents who might be new to the game.
Call your net violations. If a player contacts the net during a point, the volley ends, and a point is awarded to the other team.
No blocking or attacking a serve. 'Attacking a serve' is when a player in the front row makes an offensive hit above the net, such as a spike, tip, set, or over-the-head contact.
No pets or kids are allowed on the sand during gameplay.
Extra volleyballs are available. Retrieve balls from outside the playing area when time allows. Do not walk barefoot on the tracks.
