NCAFA is pleased to announce its first recreational fall flag football program. It will run on Saturday mornings at Kaladar Park, 2554 Kaladar Ave.. Boys and girls born 2009-2017 are welcome to register here. NCAFA is running this registration through the South Ottawa Mustangs football program. The program is coed. Starting September 6 the program will run on Saturdays in September and October (8 Saturdays), U10 and U12 are 9-10:30 am while U14 and U17 are 10:30-12.
Cost is $200 plus $22.5 of Football Canada/Ontario fee. If a participant played NCAFA flag in the spring the FC fee paid there is good for the whole 2025 year. All players will receive two Redblack shirts (Red, Black) and a pair of RedBlack shorts. Each Saturday session will consist of skill development and games. Early in the year, more skills, later in the year more games. Game play will be 5 on 5.
Football cleats best, soccer cleats good, normal running shoes okay but poor if wet. Prepare for all types of weather. Flag belts provided. Wear shorts that do not have pockets. If a player needs to wear something with a pocket (sweat pants, hoodie) then be sure to cover them with shorts and shirt without pockets. Until we get the uniforms try and bring a dark t-shirt and a white t-shirt.
