Are you interested in playing in a new type of summer league?

Matravers Table Tennis Club in Westbury is looking to host a New Summer League offering for all players of all standards in and around Wiltshire, Bristol, and Bath areas.

We aim to have 4 divisions….so you will be competing with players of a similar standard!

Prem Division, Division 1, Division 2 and a Junior Division.

We aim to provide cash prizes for team division winners and runners up. This is based on 4 divisions of 8 teams.

Entry fee for each team is £20 with a match night fee of £3 per player.

All matches will be held at Matravers Table Tennis Club every Wednesday evening from 7pm

New Summer League Format:

Each division will start in 2 group of 4 teams in a round robin with 1x winners and 1x runners up from each group progressing to a Semi Final Knockout stage with winners progressing on to the Final.

New Match Format:

Match format will be best of 9 singles over 3 legs up to 15 and will also include the option to use a 2-point power play ball which can be used by both players (once) over the 3 legs.

 – There will be no doubles!

Team Registration:

All teams registered, will need to select a division that they wish to play in. This division needs to be of the same standard in which the team players play in normal winter league. Ie, if you play in Prem division in winter league you will need to select Prem in summer league and likewise with the other divisions. With regards to the Junior Division, Players must be under 16yrs old to enter.

Note: Teams will be assessed and moved to an appropriate division if it appears that a team has registered itself in a lower division than reflects the standard of players and if known players do not play in a division that they currently play in within their winter league.

Teams need to consist of a minimum of 3 players to register.
