To provide qualified, professional football officials and timekeepers for community tackle football in Winnipeg and surrounding areas, ensuring every game is conducted with integrity, fairness, and a commitment to youth development.

Rigorous training, certification, and continuous education ensure our officials are rule experts and mentors who elevate the game.
Fostering relationships with clubs, coaches, and families to keep football accessible, enjoyable, and thriving in Manitoba.
Structured annual programs prepare officials for the season through comprehensive rules training and hands-on mentorship with experienced referees.
We coordinate and assign qualified officials to over 600 community tackle football games each season (May–October) across all age divisions.
Continuous education, rule updates, and mentorship programs ensure our officials stay current and excel in their roles on the field.
We work collaboratively with community-based clubs, coaches, and Football Manitoba to keep the sport safe, fair, and accessible for all.
The Manitoba Football Referees Association Inc. is a Manitoba non-profit corporation governed by its members, who elect the Board of Directors. The Board oversees day-to-day operations and adheres to the Association's Constitution and By-Laws.
