ROLE OVERVIEW
Leads team direction, culture, and staff execution.
- Plan practices and set weekly development priorities
- Manage games/tournaments, lineups, and in-game decisions
- Lead communication with families and organization leadership
- Mentor and coordinate Assistant Coaches
Supports instruction, stations, and game execution.
- Run stations / small groups and teach fundamentals
- Support in-game coaching (offense/defense/rotations)
- Reinforce standards, effort, and positive culture
- Collaborate closely with the Head Coach plan
TIME COMMITMENT
Consistent presence matters — we’re building trust, rhythm, and development over time.
- 2 practices per week
- 10–14 tournaments per season
- 3 practices per week
COMPENSATION & SUPPORT
Paid roles with program backing and travel support.
- Paid position (compensation based on experience)
- Hotels covered by the team for travel tournaments

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

- HEADDevelop and implement practice plans and weekly development priorities

- HEADHead coaching or leadership experience preferred
- HEADStrong understanding of advanced skills and game strategy
- HEADExperience coaching youth or competitive travel baseball preferred
- ASSISTYouth or travel baseball coaching experience preferred
- ASSISTPositive attitude, strong work ethic, team-first mindset
- COMMONPrior baseball playing and/or coaching experience required
- COMMONStrong understanding of baseball fundamentals and rules
- COMMONExcellent communication, organization, and professionalism
- COMMONAbility to commit to seasonal and off-season responsibilities
- COMMONLocated in or able to travel within Northern Virginia (NOVA)
