Volunteer with Lake of the Woods Adaptive Watersports. This is a great organization situated right here in Lake of the Woods. They host events each summer that are amazing for participants and volunteers alike.
If you or your child is interested in competitive waterskiing, Virginia is part of the Eastern Region. The AWSA East page has some great information to get you started, or speak with a board member that can give you more information. Our club has a show ski focus, but several of our skiers actively compete in 3 event competitions (slalom, trick, and jump)
