CAmpana Park - 2025 Fall Double Header League

REGISTRATION FORM

Where & When?

  • All games Played at Campana Park.
  • Address - 2840 Meister Rd. Lorain, OH 44053
  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Access to all 6 dirt fields & 1 Turf Field.
  • Double Headers will be played on Saturday or Sunday
    • One double header per weekend.
    • League will take input from teams on which day they would like to play each weekend (can also rotate as needed).
    • League will accept teams blackout dates but only before league schedule is released.
  • 5 Week (10 Games) Regular Season (8/16- 9/14)
    • ​Week 6 (9/20 & 9/21) will be left open for make up games. If there have been no rainouts, Week 6 will be a knockdown week that will count towards the standings. (i.e 1 v.2 3 v.4, 5 v. 6, etc.)
  • ​End of season tournament to be played the last weekend of September. (9/26 - 9/28).

Registration:

  • Registration deadline is 12:00 AM on Saturday, August 2nd.
  • 10 Team Max per divison. League will close registration as each division reaches ten teams.
  • Payment is not needed at the time of registration but is due before teams play their first games.

  • ​This is a TEAM registration and coaches will responsbile for submitting their rosters to Lorain Summer Softball after registration is complete. 
  • No roster restrictions for players outside of represented community or organization.
  • Per USA Softball rulebook, Players age will be represented by their age at 11:59 PM on August 31st, 2025. 

Rules:

  • 90 Minutes - finish the inning.
    • ​When a game reaches 90 minutes the umpire will announce that this is the last inning and the game will be final once that inning has been completed. To complete an inning, both teams must have received an opportunity to bat unless the home team is ahead before final at bat.
    • Run rule -15 after 3 & 10 after 4 (All divisions).
  • 10U & 12U - 5 run limit per inning
    • A half inning is complete after 3 Outs OR 5 runs are scored during that half inning.
    • After 60 Minutes - All innings played will be considered unlimited runs and there is NO run limit.
    • If a game is tied at the end of the final inning that game will result in a tie. (International Tie breaker rule will be in effect during tournament play).
    • No dropped third strike or infield fly rule for 10U. Both rules WILL be in effect in 12U.
  • 14U Rules
    • ​90 Minute finish the inning.
    • All other rules will follow OHSAA standards.
  • (Additional rules and guidelines will be issued to coaches at least one week before the start of the regular season)

Fees:

Registration Fees are NOT due at time of registration. This form is designated to reserve your teams spot in the league. All Fees should be paid before the first game of the season.​​​​​​​

  • 10U - $450.00
  • 12U - $450.00
  • 14U - $500.00​
    • All fees included in total cost! (Umpires, Balls, Fields, Tournament & Awards)
    • $50 per team discount for all organizations that register 3 teams or more.
  • Game Balls will be provided to the home team and umpire at the start of each game.
  • Umpire paid by LSS Committee Member before the start of each game.
  • Teams are responsible for their own uniforms.
