Umpires of games held at Lampson Park are scheduled by Lions Baseball. 9U games will often be umpired by 11U players, and 11U games are likely umpired by 13U players.
If your player is interested in umpiring please get in contact with our Umpire-in-Chief so we can notify you of upcoming courses (usually offered in Winter).

To clarify: you must attend a Clinic annually to work as a Lions Umpire.

Dressing professionally is fundamental to establishing an umpire’s authority, even before the game begins. Here is the required dress code:
