Starting June 1st, families can begin registering players for the upcoming 2022/23 hockey season. We are excited to return to our traditional June registration timeframe and anticipate another fun and exciting season of Redwing hockey.
A few important changes and notes to be aware of prior to beginning your online registration:
- A new website. Things will look a bit different when you go to register as we recently launched a new website. The updated version of saskatoonredwings.ca is powered by TeamLinkt providing enhanced features and integration with the TeamLinkt App that has been used by all SMHA teams over the past few seasons. The good news is your username and password are the same for the website as what you previously used for the TeamLinkt App.
- U15A SMHA city wide. As previously announced this spring, U15 will be utilizing a city-wide model for A hockey this season which will operate like the U15AA league. Players wanting to try out for city-wide U15A must register through their home zone and select the U15A option. Registration for U15AA and U13AA city-wide hockey evaluations will be managed separately and available at gshlonline.ca.
Reminders prior to registering:
- All players trying out for U13AA and U15AA are required to register with their home zone as well as the city-wide evaluations. There is no cost to doing this and players that make a city-wide team are then removed from the zone evaluations. Simply select the ‘Pay Later’ option when registering your player if you are also registering for U13AA and U15AA city-wide evaluations.
- Families applying for funding through outside organizations to cover or offset their registration fees are asked to select the ‘Pay Later’ option during player registration.
- Coach registration. The Redwings zone is always looking for coaches, anyone interested in coaching whether it be helping out or head coaching must register through the online Coach Registration form. Only coaches registered through the online registration form will be considered for the upcoming season.
Complete your registration prior to the June 30, 2022 deadline to guarantee a spot in the Redwings zone and avoid late fees. We look forward to another great season of Redwing hockey. More information is available at saskatoonredwings.ca.
