The Valley Minor Football Association want to take this time to acknowledge an instrumental person in building Valley Bulldogs football to where it is today - newly retired President, Neal Bentley.

Neal Bentley’s impact on the Valley Minor Football Association has been nothing short of transformative. His journey began as a dedicated parent and coach, supporting his children from the sidelines and quickly becoming an active and trusted member of the football community. Neal stepped into coaching, where he demonstrated not only a strong understanding of sport  but also a genuine commitment to developing young athletes.

As a coach, Neal emphasized discipline, respect, and perseverance, shaping players both on and off the field. His ability to connect with athletes and inspire confidence made him a respected leader among players, parents, and fellow coaches alike.

In recent years, Neal took on the role of president during a challenging time for the association (Covid). Through his selflessness, tireless work ethic, and clear vision, he helped stabilize and rebuild the program. Under his leadership, the association not only recovered but grew into its healthiest state as of 2025. Neal focused on strengthening community involvement, improving program structure, and ensuring a positive, inclusive environment for all participants:  players, coaches and parents.

What sets Neal apart is his belief that football is more than a sport—it is a tool for building character. His dedication to creating not just better players, but better people, will leave a lasting legacy.

Neal’s contributions will be deeply missed, but his influence will continue to shape the association for years to come. Thank you, Neal, for everything you have done.
