We’re proud to host a Softball Ontario Level 1 / Youth Umpire Clinic in North Bay. This clinic is required for all new umpires—youth and adult—who want to be certified for the 2025 season.

Softball Ontario now uses a two‑step certification process for Level 1 umpires:

Step 1 – Complete the 9 Online Lessons (Theory Training)
Before attending the in‑person clinic, all Level 1 umpires must complete all 9 online lessons on Softball Ontario’s training platform.
•     Lessons can be completed at your own pace
•     Each lesson includes a short assessment
•     All assessments must be completed to receive credit
•     These must be finished before April 24

Step 2 – Attend our Level 1/Youth Face‑to‑Face Provincial Clinic
Once your online lessons are complete, take a snapshot confirmation for the in‑person clinic.

At this clinic, you will:
•     Complete the practical portion of your Level 1 training
•     Participate in on‑floor instruction
•     Pay your certification fees
•     Work directly with certified Softball Ontario umpire instructors

Registration is handled exclusively through Softball Ontario’s website, and spots will fill quickly due to the 20‑person limit.
