The Richmond Tigers have run on top of the Blues after a huge 41-point comeback.
The Tiger cubs were pivotal in the huge comeback with the 2024 #1 pick making his AFL debut and kicking 2 goals, being Forward Flank's Player of the Match.

The Blues 41-point lead was present halfway through the second quarter with the Tigers climbing back late, to see a 25-point defecit at the half.
In the second half, the Tigers defended extremely well only handing over 19-points through the whole third and fourth quarter, while the Tigers added 9.3 in the second half in a dominant performance by their captain Toby Nankervis.

The Blues will be taking on a Hawks side who defeated last years runner up's during OPENING ROUND at the SCG, while the Tigers who look to exceed expectations take on the Power next Satuday at the Adelaide Oval.

Finally, on a triple header Sunday, which starts in Adelaide from 12pm EDT, the Crows take on the Saints, before it is back to G' for a prime-time Dees v Giants matchup, and to end off round one from Perth it is the Suns and the Eagles.
