MB Sports Academy Girls Flag Football: A Year of Growth, Community, and Champions

2025 has been a landmark year for MB Sports Academy Girls Flag Football, showcasing our mission to grow the game, empower young athletes, and create unforgettable experiences both on and off the field.

In February, we kicked off the year with a free girls flag football clinic, drawing over 60 enthusiastic attendees eager to learn, compete, and build their skills. The momentum continued in March when MB Sports Academy coaches and players participated in an exclusive NFLPA event, sharing the field with NFL and collegiate legends Santana Moss and Clinton Portis—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our athletes to connect with the game’s greats.

We are also proud to celebrate Faith, a standout middle school athlete from MB Sports Academy, who earned a spot on the USA Football National Flag Football Team, representing the very best in youth talent on the national stage.

April and May brought the excitement of our Spring Middle School Girls Flag Football Season, where over 80 student-athletes from six Orange County Public Schools competed for the title. Congratulations to Sunridge Middle School, crowned 2025 Champions after a thrilling season of teamwork and grit.

And we’re not slowing down—MB Sports Academy is proud to announce our first-ever Fall Mini-Clinic Season this October, giving girls in our community even more opportunities to train, compete, and grow in the sport they love.
