The Bigler YMCA’s Ladies Volleyball League opened its 2025 season with plenty of energy and exciting matchups as both defending champions hit the court to begin their title defenses.

Game 1: Servivors vs Hair House

Week 1 kicked off with a thrilling battle between Hair House and the defending fall champions, Servivors.
Hair House came out firing on all cylinders, taking control early with solid passing and strong net play. Their early momentum carried them to a 25-22 win in the first set.

But the Servivors showed why they’re the reigning champs, settling in and taking command of the match. With sharper communication and consistent serves, they rebounded with a 25-16 second-set win and closed out the match with a 25-19 victory in the third.
The Servivors start the season 1-0, but Hair House made it clear they’ll be a team to watch.

Game 2: Ball Busters vs Full of Hits

When the defending winter champions, Ball Busters, took the court for their season debut, they didn’t just show up — they announced their return with authority. From the first serve, it was clear they hadn’t missed a beat over the off-season.

Full of Hits came in ready to compete, but Ball Busters were firing on all cylinders — crisp serves, fearless swings, and a defense that refused to let anything touch the floor. The opening set ended 25-15, setting the tone for what would become a statement performance.

By the second set, Ball Busters were in full control, showing their trademark chemistry and relentless energy. Every rally seemed to end with a powerful spike or a perfectly placed tip, leaving little room for their opponents to recover. They cruised through the next two sets 25-12 and 25-13, sealing a decisive sweep.

If there were any doubts about whether the reigning winter champs still had their edge, those questions were put to rest. The Ball Busters are back — confident, cohesive, and hungry for another title run.
