The Bigler YMCA’s Co-Ed Volleyball League launched its season with two exciting matches that set the tone for an action-packed fall ahead. The gym was alive with energy as teams battled through tight rallies, long volleys, and comeback moments that had fans on their feet.

Game 1: Team 5 vs Clean It Up

The night opened with a nail-biter between Team 5 and Clean It Up. Clean It Up came out strong, controlling the pace and taking the first set 25-20. But Team 5 regrouped quickly, sharpening their communication and finding their rhythm in the second set, earning a 25-18 win to even things up.

The decisive third set was as intense as they come—both teams traded points past the 25-point mark before Team 5 sealed the match with a hard-fought 27-25 victory. It was a statement win to start the season, proving that no lead is ever safe when Team 5 is on the court.

Game 2: All Sets Are Off vs CVP

The second matchup saw All Sets Are Off take on CVP, and it lived up to its name in dramatic fashion. CVP dominated early, cruising through the first set 25-13 with sharp serves and strong net play.

The second set looked like it might be a repeat performance—CVP jumped out to another big lead—but All Sets Are Off refused to back down. Behind some clutch serving and scrappy defense, they stormed back to take the set 25-22, forcing a decisive third.

With momentum swinging, both teams traded point for point in the final set before All Sets Are Off completed their comeback, winning 25-21 and earning their first victory of the season.
